Andrew works in a variety of community projects and agencies in Kintore and his own traditional lands around Mount Wedge located north of Papunya. He is involved with several health educational programs and depicts them as artworks for those with lower literacy skills. In 1995 Andrew commenced training as an Aboriginal Community Police Officer, in Alice Springs and is now stationed at Kintore. His wife, Marlene is the daughter of Nancy Ross Nungarrayi.
Painting
Andrew started painting in the mid 1980’s. He paints stories that are related to his country, which is located north of Papunya. Andrew’s style shows traditional Warlpiri designs combined with a strong influence from the Pintupi artists he has associated with at Kintore. Andrew possesses a high degree of knowledge relating to the iconography of his Walpiri ancestry. His dreaming stories include Possum, Bush Onion, Water, Kangaroo and Goanna Dreaming.

Andrew took part in the creation of a large artwork along with fellow artist Morris Gibson. This work has now become part of the permanent collection at the Sydney Powerhouse Museum.
