Painting
Ningura paints the “Tingari” stories that relate to her traditional homeland around Kiwirrkura. The Tingari contains secret knowledge and translations of designs are not often provided. Many of her paintings depict sacred symbols and it is her entitlement as a senior elder that allows her to produce these dreamings in her artworks. Ningura was chosen amongst eight indigenous artists represented at the Musee du Quai Branly in Paris 2006.
